What to do when vaccine supplies save millions of children but infect thousands with hepatitis B and HIV? How can Ebola vaccine research be carried out during an outbreak? Dr. Pakes will lead a discussion of these real-life public health and global health ethical dilemmas and use talmudic and responsa literature, as well as his own Global Health Ethical Reflection Matrix to begin to answer them.
