Danita Dubinsky Aziza

In 2008 I left my comfy cozy life in Winnipeg and with my husband and three teenage children pursued a lifelong dream of living in Israel. I documented my trials of integration in the form of life lessons to provide an appreciation of daily life within Israeli culture and to demonstrate that meeting challenges can provide enormous opportunity for personal growth. My articles were published and were so well received that I went on to write Finding Home: A Journey of Life Lessons in the Land of Israel. I began my career as an account manager with an international public relations/public affairs company and later worked as a race relations consultant for the City of Toronto. In 1993 I founded Healthy Home Services Inc., which was Canada's first environmental home product and consulting company devoted to helping individuals struggling with allergies, asthma and chronic illness lead healthier lives. Upon returning to Canada in 2012, I worked as the director of marketing for the North American start-up of an Israeli high-tech company. I have been a member of various boards and committees both in Toronto, Winnipeg and Israel and currently serve on the community advisory committee of the Winnipeg Regional Health Council and as Vice-Present of the Board of Jewish Family and Child Service. I hold a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Education.
